Hero Monster Exit Wall Obstacle Magic Illuminated · clear In shadow Effects / auras Monster range

Unlit squares are shaded; hero sight removes the shade without a yellow tint. Moving or returning heroes updates the shade immediately. Portraits: yellow = Range; green = remaining Health; red/orange = Attack; bottom purple = Magic. Magic replaces Attack: it deals its value to every other hero and monster along each straight ray up to Range, including allies. Units, obstacles, and the Exit do not stop magic; walls do. All damage resolves simultaneously, including from defeated units. Physical attacks and sight are unchanged: allied heroes and obstacles are transparent to hero sight; walls, monsters, and the Exit block it. Monster attacks stop at the first hero. Torchbearer illuminates its own square and all eight adjacent squares only, independent of Range. Giant Spider attacks all eight adjacent squares. Goblin Shaman uses Magic 1 at Range 2 with the same magic rules as Blue Wizard. Green Blob (1A / 1R / 2H) and Red Blob (1A / 1R / 3H) ignore physical Attack damage; defeat them with Magic. Red Blob also sets Attack to 0 for heroes in all eight adjacent squares; Magic is unaffected. Green outlines show effects and auras, which apply even when hidden. Celestial Wizard (M0 / R0 / H1) illuminates nothing, including its own square. Adjacent heroes keep their normal sight directions/footprint but illuminate through monsters and walls; attack blocking and Magic wall-blocking do not change. Priest of Blah (M2 / R2 / H2) casts Magic diagonally only, up to two squares away; walls block it, creatures do not. Bolt Wizard (M1 / R1 / H2) starts on all eight adjacent squares and chains to all adjacent monsters for up to three steps including the first hit. Each monster is hit once per Bolt Wizard; heroes are never hit or used as chain links. Floor, trap, item, obstacle, and Exit squares must be illuminated. Traps do not block sight or attacks. Web −1 Attack; Pit −1 Range; Spike −1 Health; Hex −1 Magic. Penalties apply only while a hero occupies the trap, with a minimum stat of 0. Monsters cannot occupy traps. Other terrain cannot share a trap square. Items: WS +1 Health; WD +1 Attack; OW +1 Magic; PS +1 Range. Bonuses apply only while occupied by a hero. Bonuses only increase existing scores: no Attack means no Dagger benefit; no Magic means no Wand benefit. Items do not block sight or attacks. Only one trap or item may occupy a square, with no other terrain. Red outlines show monster damage range.

Levels stay in Notion. Only player progress is saved in this browser. Returning to the editor preserves your editing board in this tab; resuming restarts the unfinished level.

Open, save and create levels in Notion using the actions above. Unsaved changes stay in this tab only. Catalog changes require a new build; revalidate puzzles after changing stats. Backgrounds use 100 px per square plus a 25 px margin on every side. Play preview keeps your editing arrangement unchanged. Boards support up to 10×10.
